Voices of the Klondike

Voices of the Klondike was performed by the Whitehorse Community Choir in celebration of the centennial of the Klondike Gold Rush. The concert featured secular and popular music, much of which was composed at the time of the gold rush.

The show toured to Haines Junction, Skagway, Whitehorse, and Dawson City in May 1998. The selection from the video — in which the choir sings "Along the Yukon Trail" — provides scenes of the White Pass, Dawson City, the tailing piles along the Klondike River, and the choir performing in Dawson's famous Palace Grand Theatre.

Provided here is a selection from the video of Voices of the Klondike. You will need QuickTime to view this movie.
