The Cycling Association of the Yukon is putting together a mountain biking team for the 1997 Canada Summer Games in Brandon, Manitoba. Team members may also go to races in Alberta & B.C. this summer. The Village Office has applications to try out for the team.

The Yukon Lotteries Commission oversees public lotteries in the Yukon and allocates the proceeds from them. The Commission currently has some vacancies on it and invites community minded volunteers to apply for these vacancies.

RODEO UPDATE
GREAT NEWS!
The Rodeo Committee will be holding the Phil Temple Memorial Rodeo on the evenings of
Wednesday & Thursday, July 10 & 11.
They are also planning to hold monthly bingos in the Community Hall, starting Thursday, February 8. The latest project is to get the steel gates made for the holding pens. Finally, 1996 memberships are now on sale for $50 each and they are available from Bernie's Videos.
