These unparalleled adventures depart three times daily and are
a must activity during your visit to Whitehorse and Dawson City.
TOUR: CROUCHER CREEK WOOD CAMP
Duration: 3-1/2 to 4 hour tours
Tours run approximately 3-1/2 hours with 1/2 hr. leeway for special attractions, weather, animal sightings, etc.
Services: Toilet facilities; hot/cold beverages or snacks provided
for a fee; souvenirs (i.e. hats, t-shirts, info on local activities)
Departures: 10:00 am; 2:30 pm; 7:00 pm. Evening tours run 2-1/2 hours.
Tours run Monday to Friday from June 15 to September 1, 1997. Weekend charters
Dock Location: 1st Avenue and Main Street, downtown Whitehorse on
the Yukon River behind the White Pass building.
Points of Interest: Shipyards; Chilkoot Island; Eagle's nest over water; sunken barge; McIntyre Creek; wood camp; clay cliffs; wildlife
(i.e. birds, otters, king salmon, beaver, eagles, etc.)
Price: $36.00 per person (4 hour tour); Charters $50.00 per hour.
